Red Bank RiverCenter is proud to present Sunday in the Park…with the Symphony on Sunday, July 2, 2017!
The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra comes to Red Bank for a free, open-air concert in the picturesque setting of Marine Park on the Navesink River. Spend the day enjoying walkable downtown Red Bank's world-class shopping and dining, then head just steps over to Marine Park for a rousing performance by the NJSO at 8 pm.
Pack your gear for a concert that's a “Road Trip Across the USA”. Travel from Red Bank through the heartland of our great country with John William’s moving score from the movie "Lincoln", a trip to the Wild West with Aaron Copeland’s iconic Rodeo, and all the way to the Magic Kingdom with your favorite music from Beauty and the Beast. These modern American classics will make for a fun, memorable musical trip for the whole family!
The symphony truck will roll into Marine Park, where the sides will open up as the entire truck converts into a mobile stage… complete with sound, lighting and all the trimmings. Listeners can lay back on the grass or bring a lawn chair of your own and take in this marvelous concert in a amazing setting as the sun sets over our Navesink River!
The concert is free, presented as a “thank you” to the community of Red Bank and their neighbors from the Red Bank RiverCenter, a Special Improvement District funded by the downtown business district, and parking is always free on Sundays!
